The building material business and the tape business
DSC advanced the building material business based on the naphthalene in 2014. Especially, we are treading on the concrete admixture market actively and built a production facility of about 30 thousand tons at factories in Pohang every year focusing on PNS to ensure internal stability in the domestic market. On the one hand, we built additional factories with the same output in Indonesia to secure the PNS output of about 60 thousand tons. DSC organized a global network with Indonesia with the foreign advance and we broadening the supply area to US and Middle East as well as Southeast Asia and East Asia, and we are emerging as a front runner of the global market already in the concrete admixture sector. We recently aimed at diversifying the product and launched various products such as HS PNS, Ca Salt PNS, PNS for dye, and lignin. We are establishing a solid foothold as the world best concrete compound firm nominally and virtually. DSC who reached for the tape business after merging Insan Digichem, its affiliate, in October, 2014 broke the tape market which was on the large company monopoly system and organized various acrylic foam tape line and are trying to broaden the market. We are continuously proceeding with the Chinese market-targeting business as well as the domestic market, and is turning over 3 billion won only in the Chinese market in 2014.
